Id'ing Blue Items
I'm farming outside of Droks and I'm getting alot of blue unid items...I was just curious if the 4g cost per item to ID it would make sense for those items or should I just merchant them anyways and take the few gold less?

It's a good idea to ID everything, even white items, believe it or not.
It's probably one of the least known facts that even white items jump in price if ID'd, so check it out. Quoted strait from GWW: "Most items will have their prices increased once identified. It is advised to identify anything before selling it to traders or merchants to get the higher possible income from sold items. Identifying such items will worth it when the cost of the identification kit is paid off with the increase in price. Because of that: * Identifying white common items is recommended when the merchant's price for the unidentified item is 25 gold or more. * Salvaging and identifying upgrades it's advised when the price of the item is below 10Gold and has no 'Increase sale price' modifier or 'Show me the Money' inscription. Players may get over 20Gold instead of 1..10. * Salvaging armor upgrades (runes and insignias) it is advised when the buy price in traders is both over 200 gold and over the price of the identified item itself while still holding the upgrades. I wouldn't bother identifying whites till the crystal desert. After that you should definately identify them, they can increase by as much as 30-40g in value.

Yeah you should ID everything really. The only things I think would be a waste are beginner drops like in Ascalon or Shing Jea. Those don't really fetch anything to begin with. You can make a TON more money but IDing all. I wish I knew about it while playing Nightfall. The game isn't very clear on salvaging/IDing for a new player IMO.
